Saturday arvo at Ambury Park

Chris roped me into coming along to some toy-plane-flying on the guise that I could play around with my camera. Actually, it turned out that Ambury Farm Park is fairly picturesque! Also, it's only five minutes from home.

  1. Oh, New Zealand. I love that there's a park full of sheep so close to the centre of Auckland!

As terrified as I am of birds, I love the shot of the rooster!

  2. Isn't there a farm park of some sort at Collingwood? That's even closer to the Melbourne CBD! I think it's nice that kids could camp at this place and see some farm animals.

The roosters weren't very tame. I couldn't get him to come any closer... maybe I should have brought something for him to eat.

  3. There's the Collingwood Children's Farm, but it's not a park. You pay for entry, but it's a fairly small entry fee.

  4. Ohhhh... I never went there - we moved to the country when I was five, so I could see as many animals as I liked for free! Our house came with its own pet goat and sheep.

  5. The pet goat (Missy) was less fun than the pet sheep (Puddles), but the pets were definitely the upside to suddenly moving hours away from the city!
